Our global network of aid and supplies
With a world-class logistics network over 50 years in the making and nearly 68,000 global staff members—most of whom are hired and working in their own communities—Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is often one of the first organizations on the ground providing aid in the wake of a natural disaster. In many cases, our independent, unrestricted funding allows us to be among the first to respond when disaster strikes.
Extreme weather on the rise
Due to shifting weather patterns induced by climate change, natural disasters like hurricanes and cyclones—and subsequent flooding—are becoming more frequent and severe.
MSF has pledged to cut our own carbon emissions in half by 2030.
