MSF does not accept applications to work in specific programs or emergency contexts. For Gaza, MSF is currently not specifically recruiting additional international mobile staff or telemedicine staff. Often in acute emergency responses, gaps are left in other programs or contexts. You can contribute by volunteering your time and skills for the general pool of international mobile staff. If you are interested in being part of this general pool of staff that work in MSF's international programs, please review your Specific Role, for your specific requirement criteria. You must submit an official application through our How to Apply page to be considered to work in the variety of countries where MSF operates.

Please ensure that you have read through all of the pages in the "Work in the Field" section and that you meet all of our essential requirements before proceeding with your application.

Interview

Completed applications and supporting documents are screened by an International HR Recruitment Officer within four weeks of submission. Candidates whose qualifications best meet MSF's needs are invited to a phone screening and/or an interview to determine their suitability.

Welcome Days

Following an interview, reference check, and employment verification, suitable candidates are invited to attend our onboarding session called Welcome Days. Following Welcome Days, the recruitment process will be concluded with a background check.

Pool

Selected candidates are included in an active pool of international mobile staff. Candidates in the pool may be sent to further MSF training programs before going on a field assignment. When the need arises, MSF offices match positions that must be filled to the most appropriate candidate, who is contacted and offered the position. It may take several months for a candidate to be offered a position on a project. We aim to place newly recruited candidates within 6 months.
